The Role
Teach within a KS1 class for pupils with a range of needs. Plan structured play, early communication and early number. Follow EHCP targets and use visual supports, task chunking, sensory breaks and clear routines. Work closely with the SENCO, therapists and families. Keep high quality records and safeguard diligently.
 
The Candidate
  • Degree in Education or a relevant subject
    • QTS, or on track by January 2026
    • Experience or strong interest in Autism, SLD or complex needs
    • Calm, consistent and clear communication
    • Team player with reflective practice and resilience
 
The School
A ‘Good’ specialist setting with small class sizes, strong multi-agency input and well established routines. You will have coaching, shared resources and time to learn the school approach so you can focus on effective teaching and pupil progress.
