The Role
You will take full responsibility for a Year 4 class, planning and delivering well-sequenced lessons that build fluency, reasoning and rich writing. You’ll use assessment to drive progress, contribute to year-group planning, and create a purposeful classroom culture where every pupil is challenged and supported. Collaborative teams, shared resources and clear routines will help you hit the ground running.
 
The Candidate
You’re a reflective KS2 ECT who’s ready to lead learning with confidence and care.
 
You should have:
• A degree in Education or a relevant subject area
• QTS or be working towards achieving it by January 2026
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• A collaborative mindset and commitment to ongoing professional development
