The Role
Teach English across KS3 and KS4, designing well-sequenced lessons that build vocabulary, analysis and crafted writing. You’ll plan, deliver and mark your own classes, use assessment to inform next steps, and contribute to shared schemes of learning. The Candidate
You’re a reflective English ECT ready for full classroom responsibility and eager to act on feedback.
You should have:

  • A degree in English or a closely related subject
  • QTS or be on track to achieve it by January 2025
