The Role
Teach in Key Stage 2 with full class responsibility in either Year 4 or Year 5. You’ll plan and deliver well-sequenced lessons, use assessment to drive progress, and establish calm, consistent routines. With year-group collaboration and shared resources, you’ll hit the ground running while developing confident, high-impact practice.
 
The Candidate
You’re an enthusiastic ECT who’s reflective, organised and ready for feedback-driven growth.
You should have:
 
  • A degree in Education or a relevant subject area
  • QTS or be on track to achieve it by January 2026
  • Secure knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment
  • Clear communication and effective behaviour management
  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to professional development
