The Role
Teach Geography across KS3 and KS4, designing enquiry-led lessons that build secure knowledge of physical and human processes. You’ll develop students’ cartographical skills (including GIS basics), strengthen data interpretation and extended writing, and use assessment to close gaps. You’ll contribute to shared schemes, fieldwork planning and a purposeful classroom culture where every learner is challenged and supported.
The Candidate
You’re a reflective Geography ECT ready for full classroom responsibility and keen to act on feedback.
You should have:
• A degree in Geography or a closely related subject
• QTS or be on track to achieve it by January 2026
• Strong knowledge across physical and human Geography
