The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a History ECT to join a committed Humanities faculty with a proven track record of student success. The successful candidate will teach History across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons that ignite curiosity about the past. As your experience develops, there may be opportunities to contribute to Key Stage 5 teaching and enrichment activities such as history clubs and school trips.
The Candidate
The school is seeking an enthusiastic and driven History ECT who is eager to grow and contribute within a collaborative department. You should have:
A degree in History or a closely related subject
• QTS or be on track to achieve it by September 2025
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for historical inquiry
• The ability to inspire students through engaging lesson delivery
• A proactive and reflective attitude towards professional development
